Guangzhou Zhujiang Power Plant

Guangzhou Zhujiang Power Plant is currently the largest power-generation facility in Guangzhou, located in the Nansha Economic Development Zone. It has a total installed capacity of 4 × 300 MW. As the largest energy‑infrastructure project undertaken in Guangzhou since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, it accounts for 56% of the city’s existing coal‑fired generating capacity. With an annual grid‑connected output exceeding 7 billion kWh, it serves as the most critical source of electricity supply in the Guangzhou region, playing a pivotal role in fostering the city’s socio‑economic development, enhancing the local investment climate, and ensuring the well‑being of its residents.

Guangzhou Zhujiang Power Plant uses the following equipment manufactured by Changsha Youxin Instrument Manufacturing Co., Ltd.:

YX-WK7300 Intelligent Muffle Furnace

Technical features:

1. It employs a microcontroller-based control system, a digital tube display module, and membrane keypad selection, ensuring convenient operation.

2. It employs a PID temperature-control algorithm, achieving higher temperature-control accuracy.

3. Temperature control is precise and timely; the optional test module allows users to conveniently perform post‑combustion checks or, at the user’s discretion, adjust temperature and duration settings.

4. The furnace chamber is constructed from polycrystalline mullite fiber, providing a wide constant-temperature zone, stable temperature control, and rapid heating and cooling rates—capable of reaching 920°C in just 15 minutes—and allowing multiple experiments to be conducted repeatedly throughout the day.

5. The control board employs a newly developed temperature conversion chip calibrated by laser etching, featuring cold-junction compensation, open-circuit protection, and software-based over-temperature protection.

6. An optional pallet layout platform is available, facilitating layout operations during quick‑lime testing.

7. An electronic lock option is available to prevent unauthorized opening or closing of the furnace door during testing.

8. Can be integrated with the laboratory management system to enable backup and upload of test results.

YX-ZR9703 Automatic Calorimeter

Technical features:

1. Employing advanced multi‑probe temperature‑sensing technology, the system continuously monitors the water temperature in the inner bucket, the outer bucket, the ambient room temperature, and the temperature‑controlled water tank. Coupled with a constant‑temperature water circulation system, it supports both adaptive‑temperature and fixed‑temperature operating modes. In adaptive‑temperature mode, the water temperature tracks changes in the room temperature, effectively addressing the heat exchange between the outer‑bucket water and the surrounding air that occurs during testing under the fixed‑temperature mode, thereby eliminating the primary factor that can compromise calorimeter measurement results.

2. A unique pump‑circulation method ensures that the temperature throughout the calorimeter is uniformly balanced, thereby guaranteeing the accuracy of the test results.

3. It employs a self-developed automatic oxygen bomb lifting mechanism, offering a high degree of automation and simple, convenient operation.

4. Utilizing imported insulation materials, the instrument effectively isolates itself from external environmental influences, resulting in enhanced anti-interference performance.

5. Equipped with a high-precision probe-type electrical calorimeter, it eliminates the need for manual water weighing and automatically measures the water volume in the inner cylinder. With a repeatability error of less than 0.5 g, it delivers more accurate water measurements, shorter test durations, rapid and precise results, and simple, convenient operation.

6. Automatic ignition wire detection function, accurately identifying defective ignition wires.

7. Can be integrated with the laboratory management system to ensure that balance data is not stored locally and that test results are backed up and uploaded.

8. For solid waste samples, optional accessories such as a specially designed oxygen bomb and crucibles are available.

9. An optional oxygen bomb gas collection device is available for collecting gases inside the oxygen bomb.

Quality is the foundation of any enterprise. To enhance product quality, the company has adopted military‑grade aging processes and independently developed MCPC technology, significantly improving product reliability and stability. Among these advancements, the YX‑ZR calorimeter series, the YX‑DL fixed‑sulfur analyzer series, the YX‑GYFX industrial analyzer series, the YX‑CHN carbon–hydrogen–nitrogen elemental analyzer series, the YX‑HRD ash‑fusion‑temperature tester series, and the YX‑WK automatic moisture analyzer series—along with other coal‑quality testing instruments—have all been included in the higher‑vocational‑education textbook “Coal Quality Analysis,” edited by Li Chunyi of Inner Mongolia Chemical Vocational College and published by Beijing Institute of Technology Press, where they are described in detail as teaching‑use equipment.
